www.HealthyPet.com is a great resource for all pet lovers. In their Pet care library/dogs they have articles on breed information, behavior, common health problems, nutrition, preventive care, illness and disease, plus others. The FAQs section has answers to questions that many of us encounter while raising our pets. In the Find a Hospital you will be able to type in a State/Province, Zipcode, within miles of you and click search. You will be brought to a page that gives you many practices that match your query. I did a test search from my house and got 11 practices within 15 miles from my house. If you click on the practice you will then see address, phone number even a map link for location. Being able to find a Veterinarian fast while we are traveling is wonderful. I cannot tell you how many times we have been traveling with friends and one of our pets gets sick or injured. We are then in a panic to try to find a Vet close. Until now, when we have checked in a campground we normally ask the closest Veterinarian so we are prepared if needed. If you have a cat, bird, iguana or rabbit you too will find articles for them on this helpful site.
