Lizard patrol

Zachary is on constant lizard patrol. We can be walking around the bock and Zach will spot a lizard and the chase is on. This trait is so ingrained in Westie's that they cannot walk by one without chasing. Sometimes it would be nice if they were able to have a lizard free day.

What does Zach do with a lizard he manages to catch? I don't imagine he would kill it and eat it, but maybe....I have also heard that some lizards are poisonous so I would think you'd have to be careful about what kind of lizards Zach is around. Both my Westies eat Wabbit droppings-ugh-but I try to stop this bad habit by checking our back yard daily and if Wabbits :-) have been there overnight I clean up and then let my pups out! They rush all over the yard with their noses glued to the ground in search of their "treats"-too bad!!
